Community Development Specialist for the anticipated Forestry project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Indonesia.

We are looking for a COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST for the anticipated Forestry project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Indonesia. We are seeking applicants with the following requirements:

• At least ten years of local community development experience.
• Proven experience in raising rural incomes through small and medium enterprise and achieving behavior change.
• A graduate degree in agriculture and rural development, community development, or related field.
• A clear understanding of climate change issues related to community development is required.
• Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written.
• Working experience in developing countries.
• Strong English writing and speaking skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and knowledge of Indonesian culture required.
