Admin Staff for DNPI (DNPI/British Council)

DNPI invite any individual to apply for the position
of Administration staff to work with DNPI.
The British Council has signed an Agreement with DFID (Department for International Development), the UK government international development agency to manage a Grant for "*Support to the Government of Indonesia for technical and procurement input for the implementation of climate change programming". One of the beneficiaries of the project is the National Council on Climate Change – Indonesia (NCCC) / Dewan Nasional Perubahan Iklim (DNPI).
To assist DNPI and Government of Indonesia on their climate change programme, we would like to invite any individual to apply for the position of Administration staff to work with DNPI on activities related to the project.
Purpose of Engagement
- To assist the administration matters related to project activities proposed by DNPI
- To assist DNPI to liaise, coordinate and report all matters related to project activities to all stakeholders (DFID as the donor, British Council as the Grant Manager, and Bappenas as the Coordinator of Beneficiaries)
Scope of work
The Administration staff has a scope of work as follows:
- Drafting Terms of Reference (TOR) of all of the activities. The administration staff shall assist DNPI to draft any TOR for all of project activities proposed by DNPI for this project.
Supporting all of the activities
- The administration staff shall help DNPI to prepare the activities
- the administration staff shall liaise and coordinate with the British Council staff regarding proposed activities (especially those of procurement matters)
- The administration staff shall liaise and coordinate with other beneficiaries of the project (Bappenas and Government Investment Unit of Ministry of Finance)
- Updating the information on the next program and the program which have been done by DNPI
Reporting all of the activities
- Provide assistance to draft report all of activities done by DNPI, subject to approval from DNPI
- Collect all documents related to project administration matters, report the documents and updates to coordinator division of administration and financial DNPI, and submit the report to British Council
- Report development of project activities to Bappenas as the coordinator of beneficiaries.
Terms of Contract & its Duration
- The working contract will be between the British Council and the selected candidate
- The selected candidate shall submit work time sheet to the British Council every month
- The contract will be starting from mid May 2010 until end of November 2010.
Location
The selected candidate will be located in Jakarta, at the office of National Council on Climate Change – Indonesia / Dewan Nasional Perubahan Iklim (DNPI), Gedung BUMN, Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan No. 13, 18th Floor, Jakarta 10110.

The deadline for Application is set on Monday, 10 May 2010, by end of office hour (5pm Indonesian time).
